LA Sees Itself
Catalogue Project Intern
“LA Sees Itself” is a major art exhibition produced by Biola art students in collaboration with LA-based curator Carl Berg. The project explores various perspectives on how Los Angeles is seen and experienced. As a design intern, I was assigned two ecosystems—architecture and car culture—working solely from a student-written essay and a set of provided images. I drew upon the material aspects of LA by scanning physical elements into the computer and arranging them into visual compositions. I was then responsible for organizing LA-based artworks into the spreads I created. This work was featured in a printed publication and exhibited in the Bardwell Project Space at Biola University in December 2023.
